Définition
- 1. Anodizing - method of plating metal for such purposes as corrosion resistance, electrical insulation, thermal control, abrasion resistance, sealing, improving paint adhesion, and decorative finishing. (Brittanica). 2. Anodizing is an electrolytic passivation process used to increase the thickness of the natural oxide layer on the surface of metal parts. (Wikipedia). 3. Anodizing is an electrochemical process where the oxidation of a metal working as anode is induced by the flow of current—generally, but not exclusively, a direct current (DC)—from an external power supply.
