Sample ID
Definisjon
- Identifier of the sample. The naming is not univocal among laboratories, thus the conventions may differ. In case of biological samples, it may be the internal ID; in case of outcome of a sample preparation, it may be the sample preparation ID; in other cases it can be the number on the box containing the sample; in other cases a convention is established. The choice of how to identify a specific sample is given to the laboratory.
