Definisjon
- 1. The magnetic property of a material is the atomic or subatomic response a material to an applied magnetic field wherein the electron spin and charge create a dipole moment and a magnetic field. (ScienceDirect, Nanomaterials for Medical Applications 2013, Pages 181-234). 2. Magnetic properties other than diamagnetism, which is present in all substances, arise from the interactions of unpaired electrons.
